CDG 2 RER Location

I am arriving at CDG II Terminal 2A in two days with my 16 year old daughter and need to know how to reach the RER B stop. Will I be able to walk or do I have to take a shuttle?

Additionally, I am flying from CDG to Nice via Easyjet next week and will be taking the RER B from Luxembourg to Terminal 2B. How much time would I need to ensure that I arrive at the gate by 08:20? Do I return to the same stop as above and then shuttle or walk to 2B?

Thanks in advance,

The layout of CDG2 goes something like:

2B - 2D - - - 2F
- P - P - RER - P
2A - 2C - - - 2E

You can get a shuttle, or you can walk it, depending on how energeting you're feeling. Just follow the signs for 2C, then the station - it'll take about 10-15 minutes.

2B, well, same advice in reverse.

Random (landside) CDG tip: take some wet-wipes with you as, in my experience, "pas de savon" is one of the trendiest phrases around those parts.

Trains start from Luxembourg at 05:22, arriving 05:58...presume this is too early for you, so suggest:

6:06 arriving 6:44
6:21 arriving 6:59
6:36 arriving 7:14

Given the walk from RER to 2B (a good ten minutes), and allowing sufficient time for check-in, I'd opt for the 6:06... allows extra time for spotting, too!

Thanks

Andyflyer et. al,

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will be taking the 06:06 train. One last question, can I pre-purchase a single ticket the night before or will I be able to purchase at the RER early in the morning (around 5:45)?

Go ahead and buy it the evening before (or even earlier in your stay). The tickets are not day-specific and that way you'll save a little time in the morning.

early in the morning there is no open cashier to pay for the ticket so you need to buy it from a machine. Last time I was there, the machine would not accept any of my credit cards so I had to scramble for coins (it would not take bills either). I would definitely buy the ticket ahead of time.
