Easter Sunday in Paris
Does anyone know what stores/restaurants/sights will be open on Easter Sunday? We will be in London and are taking the Chunnell over on Easter for the day. The Louvre website says it is open and the Eiffel Tower. Does anyone know about Montmartre? Or larger department stores? Smaller sweet shops? Restaurants?
Thanks.

Easter is 3-day holiday weekend in France (with Monday off), thus many shops and restaurants will close, including I believe the large dept stores, but there will still be a lot open. Many shops/restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays anyway.
Public transportation runs, though on a slightly reduced schedule. The boats on the Seine will be running. Most museums, including the Louvre and Muse d'Orsay, will be open as usual.
Montmartre will definitely be bustling with activity. Sweet shops in the tourist areas will likely be open. Even better (imho), Maghrebian sweet shops will be open (there's a delightful one in the oberkampf area).
