Roissy Bus?

I'll be staying at the Hyatt Vendome in December, and from everything I've read, the Roissy Bus is a great option to get to that particular hotel.

Is the Roissy Bus still convenient with 2 pieces of luggage (1 checked/1 carry on) or is it more like a typical urban bus where one is discouraged from bringing more than a carry-on?

If that is the Air France bus, it has luggage storage underneath. It is put there, and removed by AF employees.

Roissybus is a typical urban bus, unlike the Air France bus.

However, as it is dedicated to IIRC nonstop airport runs, taking moderate amounts of luggage inside is no problem.

PS. You'll have to walk about a quarter mile after getting off the bus.

Thanks for this information. After my last trip to Paris 2 weeks ago and a 45 Euro taxi ride to my hotel, this seems like a much cheaper alternative.

I just stayed at the PH Vendome for 5 nights last week. Took the RER/metro from CDG to the hotel, and the Roissy bus from hotel to CDG.

The Roissy bus is by far the better option, unless traffic is really congested. It costs 8.20 euros (by machine accepting credit cards or cash on board - driver gives out change). The stop on rue Scribe is about 6-8 minute walk to the hotel. Plenty of lugguage storage rack space on the bus.

Is there a taxi stand near the Roissy Bus Drop-off point?

I don't really want to be walking the 1/4 mile while lugging luggage if it's raining.

Thanks!

Not sure if there's a taxi stand, but I've never had problems hailing a cab from the bus stop. It's behind the Opera Garnier and across the street from hotels Intercontinental and Scribe. Definitely an area targeted by cab drivers.

As others have said, it's an easy walk from the Roissybus Opera stop to the Park Hyatt. It probably takes longer to mess with a cab at that point, and the metro would be utterly pointless. I walked all the way to a hotel on the other side of Place Vendome from the bus stop with luggage in well under 10 minutes. Of course, if I had the cash to stay at the PH, I'd probably just take a cab. In fact, I'm surprised they don't have some premium car service.
