I just stayed at the PH Vendome for 5 nights last week. Took the RER/metro from CDG to the hotel, and the Roissy bus from hotel to CDG.

The Roissy bus is by far the better option, unless traffic is really congested. It costs 8.20 euros (by machine accepting credit cards or cash on board - driver gives out change). The stop on rue Scribe is about 6-8 minute walk to the hotel. Plenty of lugguage storage rack space on the bus.
