Receiving package at CDG

I have a friend in Paris who would like to give me a book, and shipping to the U.S. may be prohibitively expensive.

I will be passing through CDG going back to the U.S. from ATH. It's a 2h layover (Terminal 2F -> Terminal 2E), so probably not enough time to go out and back through security/immigration, if I could even do that. I'm wondering if there is any way I could get the book delivered to CDG in a way I could get it past security, via some courier or other method. I'd guess the answer is 'no,' but just wanted to check.

No.....but technically you wouldn't go through passport control upon arrival from ATH as it is Schengen. You would arrive at 2F and simply "exit" landside if you wanted to pick up your book in person, the only feasible way.

However, by doing so, you are subjecting yourself to a contrle security upon re-entering at 2E. Either way, you have to go thru passports at 2E.
