CDG security lines
What's the latest on the security lines at CDG? Last time I flew out of CDG, the security lines were seemingly 2 hours long (I was then flying CDG-IAD).
Are the security lines shorter if I am taking an intra-Schengen flight (to Germany)?
Is the "priority" line for business-class travelers on Air France significantly shorter than the regular line?
My upcoming flight at CDG is in the late afternoon, if that makes a difference.
Merci beaucoup!

Are you sure you are not confusing with lines at immigration (for non-Schengen flights) ? Because I have never seen 2 hrs lines for security at CDG. And I am talking of several hundreds of flights out of CDG.
Speaking in general, you know it's impossible to answer properly your question as it depends on so many variables no one control. But again, never seen such a chaos for security lines, so if it happened, it was a kind of one-time event. Lines in the priority lanes are shorter in 99% of time. I understand you fly AF to Germany, so depending on the destination, you may leave from 2F or 2G. In 2F, there are 2 priority lanes : one in the middle of the terminal along with the regular lanes and one on the left of the terminal dedicated to SkyPriority pax. It's advisable to use the latter and it's adjacent to the SkyP check-in counters.
In 2G, lines are always short as it handles only regional jets.
