CDG - Bag Handling Issues?

CDG - Bag Handling Issues?
I'm flying into CDG next week and I've been hearing a lot of horror stories about mishandled/lost baggage at CDG due to staff shortages, etc. Is there any merit to these claims that it's worse these days compared to the typical risks of lost baggage on any given trip prior to this pandemic madness?

There are indeed staff shortages, just like in every other airport of the western world. Those two years of closed airports caused a huge number of jobs to be lost. And guess what? Lots of people don't want to work for those low salaries anymore.

When we connected through CDG, we watched as the baggage handler slammed the bags onto the loader with gusto. Glad we did not have anything breakable in ours.
