We were booked on 2 cruises and the first half was cancelled and the 2nd cruise departure port was changed from Copenhagen to Southampton. (LHR) We had already purchased business class seats on Delta from BOI to CPH. We were scrambling after the announcement of the change and trying to salvage our plans without a lot of additional cost. While we could change the flights without any fees, The flights from BOI to LHR were more than double what we paid. I originally thought about booking a non-stop flight from CPH to LHR but flights were limited due to our arrival time with a lengthy layover. I searched for several days with multiple options. I found one date during the week we needed to travel with a flight from BOI to CDG for almost the same price and booked it. I then booked a non-stop Europe business class flight from CDG to LHR on Air France. The flight changes saved us the additional stop and about 10 hours. Unfortunately, we have never flown thru CDG and although we have a lengthy layover of 5 hours the information I�m reading about the airport sounds like I may have made the wrong choice.

What are my chances that I can get Delta to check our bags all the way through flying on two tickets with Air France being a partner? If the luggage isn�t an issue because they check it all the way through, do we still have to exit planeside

Would it be wise to get one of the Concierge services to help if we can�t get the luggage checked through? I thought mainly about the Air France VIP service?

I really appreciate any and all suggestions and help with this.
