Is there any advantage to pre-booking a taxi from CDG into Paris from the G7 app instead of just heading to the taxi line? I assume with the flat-rate pricing now, it would be the same or am I missing something?

There are hundreds of taxi waiting for passengers at CDG at all times. There is absolutely no reason to prebook.
Ignore all of the people offering taxis inside the terminal and go to the official taxi stand.
