CDG to Orly transfer questions
I've searched, but couldn't find any relevant threads. sorry if i missed any.
I have to make 2 transfers between CDG and Orly (on the way in and out).
First transfer:
land CDG 7:25am, leave Orly 11:30am on a Thursday (september)
2nd transfer: land Orly 10:50am, leave CDG 1:50pm on a Sunday (also Sept).
carry-on only.
I'm thinking I'm ok with a 3hr transfer time. is that correct? also, I'm planning to take RER, but is the AF bus better for the Sunday transfer?

The Air France bus (Les Cars Air France) is easier in that the service is door-to-door, and your luggage is loaded for you - there's no need to schlepp up and down stairs/escalators, and you don't have to take the monorail (ORLYval) from Antony station (the RER does not go all the way into the ORY terminal complex).
Given your time parameters, road traffic should not be a major problem on the Thursday, and not a problem at all on the Sunday.

I'm assuming your ORY arrival is a Schengen flight? If so, you should be fine with the 3-hour transfer if you take the Cars Air France coach, since you won't have to go through immigration.

Same but tighter sched-
We land 6:30 from a CX int'l flight and looking at an AF 9:10 flight to Lourdes-Tarbes from Orly. This will be on a Monday. Will i have enough time? Will a domestic flight require 1 hour before or does AF allow web check-in/ closer to departure time arrivals?

To borrow a British term, you have two hopes, Bob Hope and no hope! You will need everything to go your way to make a connection like this.

...during rush hour on a Monday morning, yet. Maybe a taxi with Sebastien Loeb driving? If your driver looks like this, you are probably OK:
Sébastien Loeb, Citroën World Rally Team

- if the flight is not delayed, you will need at least 1 hour to clear passport control and get your luggage
- then you have to take a cab or an AirFrance shuttle bus CDG > ORY .
CDG airport is in the north of the city, ORY airport in the south.
7:30 AM is the rush hour so you will have traffic issues : no chance to reach ORY before 9:00 AM
Unfortunately the next flight to Lourdes/Tarbes is some 7 hours later.

Another routing to get from cdg to ory is to use the TGV, and arrive in Massy-Palaiseau, which is very close to ory and then via taxi(?)--M-P is just 4 stops from Antony. At http://www.bonjourlafrance.com/train...on_16_115.aspx one of the trains does the trip in just 45 minutes.
This routing might be useful to know about (even if it doesn't help the two people with connections who posted in this thread.)
