Plight of the Rohingyas
Dear FTers,
The Rohingyas fleeing from Myanmar into Bangladesh are dying of hunger and malnutrition, they are injured, desperate and homeless with no clean water to drink, especially the children. I have been trying to help them but resources are so limited here. I have a number of friends and ex-colleagues in Australia who have expressed their willingness to contribute cash for the Rohingyas but for me to be able to access that, I need to go to Australia and bring the cash so that I can build our water, food and shelter supplies, which are completely exhausted right now. Electronic transfers are not being released so bringing cash is my only option.
If you want to help, you can use your spare miles to get me a super cheap economy ticket from, Dhaka Bangladesh to Melbourne and back. No pressure guys, it's just that we have exhausted all resources here and there are still so many thousands that need to be fed and given clean water. Please pm or get in touch with me if you are willing to help with a ticket from your spare miles.
Many thanks in advance from our Rohingya support camp!

Unfortunately, per the guidelines "sticky" thread above, this kind of tequest is not allowed. As dire as circumstances are for the Rohingya in Myanmar and Bangladesh, individual efforts can't be supported on FlyerTalk.
Good luck.
