Private charter to RHO for 15000 AY points
Yesterday I was alone onboard AY1863 to RHO. It was 2+5 crew members and I.

I had a private safety demo but no other announcements on that flight. No trolley tour, only personal service. It was fun and probably once in a lifetime. Our captain also came to say hi.

A little disappointing there was no announcement from cockpit before landing like: Temperature in Rhodes is 23 degrees and nice holidays for everyone".



Lady at desk said it's special flight today, only one pax and then ordered bus for me.









Business class established

What was the reason for the no pax flight? A ferry flight you somehow was able to book?

Greece season ending today..

It was open flight for everyone but no demand to RHO now.

I waited until 14:00 and if no one books it, I will book it. Return was from Aurinkomatkat getaways.

Some time in the 1980s or 1990s, AY used to operate a few DC-9 flights to Leipzig and Hannover during some major fairs. My Dad was one of only three passengers on one such flight, flying in the "wrong" direction. Their safety demo back then was an FA saying "vyöt kiinni, nyt lähdetään".

I love your carbon footprint on that A32B!

U are hero. That 10K was to be allocated on the return pax otherwise, but you took the culprit all alone for the 50% of it

That iconic Lauantaipussi is far better than any food that might have been served...at least if I was still nine years old, and it was the 90s all over again
