Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
2018 and earlier promotions can be found here.

Taking into account the fact that you don't earn any points, the true price of this would be 479 EUR + 12 000 points.
Say that Mr Plat has 1000 EUR in his wallet and 100 000 points in his account. If he buys this "offer", there's 521 EUR in his wallet and 98 000 points in his account after the flights.
If, instead, Mr Plat ignores the offer and buys a Basic ticket (at the more or less regular cost of 500 EUR, earning 50 %), he'll end up with 500 EUR in his wallet and 110 000 points in his account after the flights.
So the value of 12 000 points here is 21 EUR.
A long long time ago, AY had reasonable points offers. Say your average European holiday trip cost €400, a European award was 50 000 points + taxes and the offer might have been 250 EUR + 10 000 points. That made a lot more sense. But that's like 20+ years ago.
