Newbie here! Can anyone tell me the rules around these upgrades?
Can you use them on AA-ticketed flights with AY flight numbers? What about AA codeshares operated by AY?
And what about the ticket stock: can AY upgrade a flight operated by them if it's issued on AA 001 stock or BA 125 stock?
And any booking class restrictions?

AY Operated and AY code can be upgraded.
The stock does not matter, can be other than 105 (AY).
If the stock is not 105, they can not issue a new ticket, so the upgrade is confirmed and processed in the CI system.
With 105 stock a new ticket is issued.

Every day you learn something new... I thought the ticket stock has to be 105!

No booking class restriction.

I've been reading the forum for quite some time now due to regular AY traveling and I thought I've been waiting way too long for my first post. So it's today.
My better half could use one, as she is not yet Gold and thus could properly use it.
