Makia onboard shopping
Finnair announces new service onboard A350.
No, it is nothing of the things we wanted. Not even close.

Finnair will offer its passengers totally new onboard shopping experience in A350 aircrafts by opening Makia clothing shop in Nordic Sky Wi-Fi portal. Makia is Helsinki, Finland, based clothing company founded in 2001 specialized in classical, durable clothing for men and women.
During the flights Makia Spring/Summer 2016 collection is directly accessible, without any additional fees, with any handheld device or laptop connected to Nordic Sky Wi-Fi portal.

(I have secretly filled out every feedback form for the last 7 years with my desire to shop fresh and timeless clothing. But I won't admit it in public. Unless they throw in a onboard catwalk.)

Due to feedback from our most valued customers, we will now offer Makia clothing for competitive prices on board all our flights. However, due to space limitations, we will eliminate business class meal service to make way for the Makia carts. Happy landings!
