Fairmont bookings made with British Airways Avios
Greetings,
As a FPC Premier member, I'd like to know if Fairmont hotel bookings made on ba.com using Avios points count as a qualified stay towards Platinum membership (or maintaining Premier status for that matter).
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Yes, it is counted as a stay..
Call the FPC and provide them with your number in advance of your arrival and you will be rewarded with your FPC benefits and upgrade if available.
Avios would not have provided your FPC number.

Thank you for both responses! I will ensure to call FPC in advance of my stay and let you know after the stay is completed whether it counted as a Qualified stay.

I used Avios for a four night stay two weeks ago and the stay and nights are showing in my account, I just quoted my account number at check-in

How many Avios does a room night cost at various Fairmonts? I know that using Aeropesos for hotel rooms is usually a horrible deal.

Hello! Just returned from my trip to the Far East. So, after my stay at the Fairmont in Abu Dhabi which was booked using Avios, it came up on my FPC Stay History as a non qualified stay. However, after a quick email to the FPC service desk, they changed it to a qualified stay without any hassles.
