Key looking thing in the FPC Plt kit

Ok, I give!

I opened my kit to find a silver, key shaped chotchke in the kit. At first I thought it was some sort of USB drive, but it isn't doing anything when I plug it in. Anyone else figure it out yet? It is the mythical magic key for free and unfettered access to any minibar at any property??

It is a usb key

It doesn't always plug in as nicely as the traditional shape

As the key is a non-standard usb shape it would have made sense for fairmont to mention the item in someway in all the promo text and letters etc.
