It wasn't enough for Gary to post links to other people's content.. so he has had to take a cue from his younger counterpart. Lucky and Gary are posting travel gossip pretty often in order to push their daily post count for ad rev.

Do they call each other every night and trade what they are going to post? It sure seems as if they do as there are many many times that they are both posting the same thing even when other BA bloggers are not.

If Gary is the "Thought Leader" would that make Lucky a follower? It's like a cult! :D

Yeah, its a cult of "titans" or so some BA bloggers claim them to be.

I thought all BA bloggers have a "theme of the week" to post on and everyone has to write about it :)
This week - DoT mistake fare rule change

or that most BA bloggers run or partner with Award booking services to make even more money :)

I think a major shift, dumped into the news late on a Friday, in the way the industry's governing body intends to handle its business is probably worth writing about. And I was certainly not alone in that.

Definitely of interest to me anyway - more so than an isolated passenger incident that, while unfortunate for everyone involved, really doesn't impact me personally.

ANd don't you love how bad news gets dumped on Friday evening like that!

I found it interesting that the DoT news got buried quickly below/between blog posts that had been queued for the weekend. VFTWs take on the matter was at the bottom of the landing page because of 3-4 filler posts, for example....:D

When I used to closely follow many blogs in my Ignore list I always wondered, after seeing very similar posts by VFTW and OMAAT come within minute(s) of each other, if they employed the same ghost writer :-)

As far as the DoT change regarding mistake fares, I enjoyed Cranky Flier's post today.

How many BA bloggers are now using:

The bottom line is that I am not sure of the answer to this question.

How could VFTW have a take on the DOT comments when there are no mistake fares, only "screaming deals"?

Let's start a list of bloggers showing the least regard for ethics:

1. Miles to Memories
2. RewardBoss

Delta Points gets an honorable mention simply for his overuse of censoring

How are you defining/classifying such?

Good question. I guess it's a pretty wide net.

But those two got put there because they constantly promote dishonesty and borderline fraudulent activity, but try to justify it by saying "I don't recommend this, but here's how to defraud XYZ..."

FWIW, I would put you in the number 1 spot of most ethical / respected
