FTG posts about getting the Citi ThankYou Premier 50K card in Rick's latest AOR, citing it as $800 of AA airfare. Comments point out that by itself Premier doesn't only gets you about $600 and it's only if you have a TY Prestige card that you can redeem at a higher cents per point for AA. No reply or post revision from Rick only Howie in the comments that it's because he already has a Prestige account. Fair enough but the post itself says nothing about that - reading the post alone one would believe they can get more from the offer than it really provides. Especially for a site claiming to cater to newbies you'd think they should be more careful in how they pimp things.
