EVA booking questions

Having flown several times with EVA on reward tickets (all in Royal Laurel), I’m about to book a PE paid ticket.

Since it my first time booking with them, I have have few questions:
1. Can you view seat availability for the cabin prior to making the payment? I can’t find this option.
2. Are there dedicated lavatories for PE? (This is a 777 YYZ< >TPE)
3. Is there an option to purchase lounge access while in transit in TPE?
4. Is there a way to sign up to some mailing list to be notified if any promos?

Thanks

Not directly.

I would have to say no.

No. But Royal Laurel pax can access the Infinity.

Not directly. The promotion is usually associated with the FFP. So you have to become a membership in order to receive notifications.

You will not have lounge access with a PE ticket. Perhaps you are Air Canada Gold or have Priority Pass Lounge access?

Yes, I have Priority pass. Last January, I was in RL and had a long transit. I actually visited the Star and Infinity, then the SG and finally the large priority pass one. For some reason, I couldn't find any decent food offering in either one this time around.

How about indirectly

That and the fact that washrooms need to be shared with the economy cabin is sort of a deal breaker (and I do not believe in sneaking into J either)

Try ExpertFlyer. I'm a paying member now, but IIRC as a guest (i.e. non-paying) visitor you can see the seat charts.

There are 2 dedicated lavs at the rear of Elite class (Premium Economy).

Thanks all. I’ve done some searching on FE, both side seats in row 12 are blocked off. Lots of availability though for April. I also notice the 777 used in that route has 4 lavs behind the PE section.
