No more ticketing via phone at EVA / BR offices in USA?
EDIT: Was able to ticket in Jan'19 via the phone with rep identifying himself as in the LA office. Assuming prior issue was with rogue agent.

That would be a very recent (and extremely odd) policy. I used the LA office to ticket a week ago with no issues. There are tickets that are impossible to ticket using EVAs website.
