They load the exact number, no extras. These cases are kinda expensive to them!

Is EVA still serving La Grande dame on its LAX-TPE route?

Does anyone know if they have plans to switch to Krug at any point? I know they serve it on the IAH and JFK route. But I'm curious as to why they don't serve it out of their LAX route.

La Grande Dame is served on West Coast routes. I have no idea why though.

Similar question: BR88 as hello kitty flight: Do they still serve Krug Rose? And is there also a non-rose choice?

Thanks!

Hello Kitty flights only have Krug Rose.

Sounds like a real first world complaint and probably is, but I do not care for rose bubbly too much and wished they had some GD as well.

Yeah I don't know that you'll get much sympathy for not wanting to drink one of the most expensive champagnes served in the air

Don't expect any sympathy, just not a big fan of rose bubbly and do like GD.

Will give it a try though and report back.

Krug rose turned out to be fine, I've made it through about 2 bottles so far, but I would still prefer some of the non-rose champagnes sold at half price.

Do they serve the same champagne on IAH->TPE as from the west coast? I read they were serving Krug from ORD, IAH and NYC, but can't find anywhere to substantiate that or find it again.

BR88/87 is one of the few routes that have 5 bottles of champagne. All the other routes just have 3. BR88 is also the flight that FAs complain about the most (because they feel they’re constantly having to do their job — serving passengers). Guess most people don’t sleep on that route.
