au Pair visa

I and my host family in Denmark submitted an application for a residence permit as Au Pair last 14th June. Last June 25th, I received a refusal letter stating that

1. “Since you so in a period of about 2 years and 6 months have been engaged in your home country in the wake of your university education, seen the desired stay does not have to have a natural connection with your past life.”

2.Against this background, we do not find that your purpose with your application for a residence permit as an au pair is to forbede your linguistic and professional knowledge and to obtain a better knowledge of Denmark through greater cultural insight, but rather that you are searching with a different purpose with your stay than intended with the au pair scheme

I already submitted an appeal for this. Does anyone here has an idea how long dows it take for me to know the decision? Or anyone here has the same experience as I have? Thank you.

A week after, I received an email from the embassy that they have forwarded my appeal to the UDI. It was very disappointing because I have included everything in my application and wished that they could reverse their decision, but they are giving me a hard time. I have travelled HK and I also got a 6 month tourist Visa last year.
Anyone here had the same experience with mine? I hope to hear from you as well and how did it go.
Now, I have no idea if it can I still be granted a visa and for how long. Or if I can reapply at the moment.

I would welcome your ideas about this one. Thank you😊
Any update on your appeal. Got the same case but Iam appealing from a student visa refusal

Hi Niryl while we try to be a helpful community we are still just aviation and travel geeks and not professional visa advisers. While I can understand you disappointment please understand that flyertalk is probably not the best place to find any advise regarding individual visa issues. We try to help with general questions and in some cases members have had similar issues but in most cases especially regarding denied visas the reasons for being denied differ very much from case to case. This said it makes it almost impossible to give you any further advise than try to appeal the decision. I wish you all the best.

@Kumarmadanu I reiterate the several comments made in this thread that flyer talk is NOT a specialist immigration board and you should either search for such a board or for a properly qualified immigration practitioner who knows the Italian legal system.

Also it is not a good idea to put your phone number in posts it puts you are risk of being contacted by people who would happily rip you off rather than help you.
