Dining tip in AMS
When in amsterdam I recommend visiting "Pasta e Basta". This is a lovely pasta resataurant where they combine delicious food with live entertainment. Ever had an opera singer perform at your table? A belly dancer perform ON your table? They have several locations in amsterdam so check out their (english) site at www.pastaebasta.nl

Greetings All
I wanted to bring this post up from the past (thank you Scott C) as a Flyer Talker was asking about a wonderful place to eat in Amsterdam.
Have been to this establishment 4 times had some satisfactory meals and some very good meals.
But I have never left without seeing the beauty of the Dutch Spirit and the wonderful hospitality of those that work there and dine there.
Folks that come to see the show are from around the globe with mostly Europeans and some Americans.
It is a combination of romantic and entertaining.
If quiet is what you seek look elsewhere.
But this is a must and on weekends a tough reservation.
The inside of the baby grand houses a small buffet before dinner with various salads.
A very special and unique restaraunt that leaves you in a joyful mood.
Service a little hit and miss especially when busy or at Peak times....Or if your server is singing!
Enjoy.........
Dressy Casual
Food 3 and a half FORKS UP out of a 5 Forks Rating System
Good time Five forks up !
