CDG Paris Security

CDG Paris Security
Last week I transited CDG arriving from Moscow. They have now added a checkpoint for security when you enter hall c for departures to the US. There is really no reason for this checkpoint since you are already inside the secure area.
They completely search everh nook and cranny of your already searched carryons bags. So far just one of those silly French things.
Problem is that I am diabetic and take insulin. They took it away and said that the flight captain had to approve me taking it on board the aircraft. They refused to give me a reciept. They also have no name tags on the security people and no one would give me their name.
When the flight checked in one of the Delta agenst walked down to the security area and got the stuff and gave it to me. No involvement with the captain of the flight.
What gives? Is this American Anti War policy or what?

intensified. Yes, I think overkill.
They are pissing off the pax in the process and creating a subtle, over time dislike to traveling and people, accordingly, are traveling less, myself included.
They moved the security checkpoints at CDG in Aerogare/Terminal 1 to inside the satelites. That way everyone has to go through security(including transfers in the satelite), the problem, now you have taken away so much of the limited waiting areas at the gate holds. If there is a delay, you are stuck there, it is so far to schlep back to the main terminal and so you stay and it is very uncomfortable.
I suppose that with the flights to the US, there is more security, but it has nothing to do with anti-Americanism, atleast, I hope not.

I'll take Roissy passenger screening any day over any U.S. airport. I'm never hassled, never wanded down, and don't have to take out my laptop. Now AA security at the CDG ticket line is a different story....
