Accomodation in Edinburgh

Hi there

Just wondering if any of you could provide me with advice on a place to stay in Edinburgh during late June. I'm particularly fond of B&B's so any info on those would be great. Basically looking for a nice place, with high quality rooms and service, and good food as well. Any recommendations are welcome

Thanks in advance

We stayed here in 1995: Joppa Turrets.

Quick city bus ride to downtown Edinburgh, but the nicest part (in my wife's opinion, at least) was its location on the beach overlooking the Firth of Forth. So you can do some beachcombing in addition to seeing Edinburgh.

I don't recall anything about the food; standard English/Scots breakfast. I do remember a restaurant or two just up the street...
