The Venice Pass

Anyone use one of these things recently? Do they have any value for one staying in Venice?(Not commuting from mainland). Any outstanding discount?

What is the Venice Pass? I never heard of it, but I am interested in learning more as I have an upcoming trip there this March.

Do a search on "venice card italy" on google. Unless I don't understand some of the benefits(free toilets), I do not see any value in the thing. They were instuted last Jan, and were going to be required of day touristers. I do not know if that has become a requirement.

I think pay as you go is a better value.
