Fast track at ATH?

Hello, I will be flying ATH to JFK in J class on AA.

Is there fast-track access at security and passport control in Athens?

Thank you!

Fast Track security: Yes. And it's so quick!

Fast Track passport control: No

Enjoy Athens.

Exiting ATH on a TATL in the summer can be a mess. Some TATL flights leave from gates C in the satellite terminal, which is a 15-minute walk underground, entering from the main terminal. Document checks have a long line, and security lines are long, but there is fast track for the latter, and it is quick. However, passport control lines can be very long, a 30-40 minute wait, and there is no fast track or passport machines there. Thankfully, if your flight is boarding they will let you cut to the front of the line.

This video shows you around a bit gates C...

The above is correct, except for the time taken to walk over to the annex. Given that the distance is less than 500 metres, only walking-impaired people would need 15 minutes.

I may have misjudged that a bit due to the stress of showing up at the airport 40 minutes before a TATL boarding (I thought it will be a quick stroll to the A or B gates, lol), as I am typically the fastest walker in the airport....

On a recent departure from ATH there was, in fact, passport control fast track. They let fast track bp holders use the leftmost passport control booth which then opened towards fast track security. Was not very well signposted, so I wasted 30+ min in a regular lane before asking someone and then being told I can go there. There was a kind of a sign, as it turns out, but it was not exactly where the entrance is and facing the wrong way.

Wonder if they'll have something for the incoming/transfer passengers (but probably not - I believe transfer from A to B is through the public area?)
