Restaurants in Brussels

Looking for information on where to eat in Brussels, Belgium. We want to experience Belgium foods as well as finding excellent Italian places to eat. We are staying at the Hotel Mercure Brussels Midi.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Some of our favorites for Belgian and Italian cuisine in Brussels have been Fin de Sicle (Belgian) and La Tana (Italian).

Tonton Garby is a great place for a weekday lunch, but go right when they open at 10 AM - otherwise, be prepared to wait in line for a while.

Hello,

For a good and easy introduction to Belgian cuisine during a short stay in Brussels the best option is always to go to Butcher' Street (Rue des Bouchers).

There you will find the following good restaurants :
  • Aux Armes de Bruxelles
  • Chez Lon
  • La Terrasse de Bruxelles
  • Le Pcheur
  • Le coin de l'Ecailler
That you can combine with a visit of these funky bars :
  • Le Cercueil (The Casket / Funny, weird, funeral theme.)
  • Delirium Cafe.
And with a visit of the very near main market square and the many bars and restaurants on March au Charbon Street (Rue du March au Charbon.)

Loved this one a lot.
Absolutely agree on Butchers' Street choice.
