ATH extra security for flights to USA?

ATH extra security for flights to USA?
I'm trying to figure out how early to arrive at Athens airport for a flight to the USA, and whether there will be an extra step inside the terminal like in German airports.
I'm flying Emirates to Newark on March 30, 5:45pm.

There is no increased security in ATH for flights to the USA at this time (or to anywhere else). What will happen on March 30 is something that nobody knows. As for check-in time, follow the advice given to you by your airline...
