BRU - Entry - How Long?
Looking to possibly book self connecting flights through BRU in early October.
Will be non-Schengen to Schengen. Do not have EU passport.
How are the immigration lines at BRU these days? Looking at arriving at 1pm, and connecting to 4:30pm departure.
Ignoring inbound delays, how feasible is this self connection?
I will unfortunately have checked bags, so will need to account for luggage dispense time as well as baggage drop cut-off.

There are frequently long lines at immigration in BRU, especially for non-EU but they mostly happen in the morning (08:00 11:00 AM) when long-hauls from Africa and America arrive. In extreme cases, the wait might be an hour. 3.5 hours should be plenty.
Print your onward boarding pass and show it to someone managing the line in case it's getting close, I've seen people with tight connections getting brought to the front.
