AMS E-Gates
Can US passport holders (chipped) use the E-Gates at passport control at AMS? I've used them in Australia and other places but the AMS website references EU passport holders but doesn't specifically state ONLY EU passport holders. Thanks.

Inbound, no - you have to queue for a booth. Outbound, if you're over 16, yes (but they'll redirect you after you go through the e-gate to get an exit stamp from a human.)

AMS eGates can be used by a national of
an EU country, Australia, Canada, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland or the USA
