Bodrum transfer and timing

I'm staying at Bodrum Edition hotel later this month. How long does the transfer from the airport to the hotel take? My (domestic) flight gets in at 20:00, so wondering whether to stay in a nearby hotel overnight first or go to Edition directly.

I personally see no reason why you would want to spend a night around the airport - your hotel is less than 50km away and it should take around 45 min to reach it. Taxis are readily available at the airport. If you are very risk averse, you can also ask the hotel to arrange your transfer but the cost will be 3x-4x higher.

As MichaelA380 mentioned, it would be cheaper to take a taxi rather than requesting a private transfer from the airport.

Also as BJV is a holiday airport ( although a very few locals use it as well ), there are no airport hotels, and the airport is located on one of the inter-city roads. So, if I were you, I have would change the IST ( or maybe SAW ) - BJV flight to the next morning and stay in Istanbul for a day ( if you want to save some money ) or go directly to the hotel from the airport. From BJV to the Edition, the ride would take around 45 minutes and as high-season has ended in Bodrum there shouldn't be any traffic.
