How early should I be at AMS

Flying LH from AMS to FRA. Flight is 08:00 departure. Recommended pre-departure time to drop off baggage? - I'm assuming online check-in for this one. And on a secondary note, I'm connecting in FRA for a flight to Nairobi. Flying in Y from AMS to FRA and then PE from FRA to Nairobi. Will my bags be priority tagged in AMS ?

I'd be checking the Lufthansa website for their deadlines.

With Lufthansa your check-in deadline will depend on what class of service you are flying as well as the airport. As UKtravelbear said checking Lufthansa's site will give you the best answer. They have a tool on the check-in tab to assist.

If you're taking the train to AMS or staying in one of the hotels in the airport, you should be sure to allow time to get to your check in counter once in the airport. It can be a long walk and might not be obvious.

The LH counter at AMS is still in the temporary check in terminal I think. It's quite a walk from where the trains arrive. I would factor in at least 10 minutes for this.

Aim to arrive at latest 6:30am to give you time to navigate the airport with luggage (train to checkin counter).
If you are on one ticket all the way to NBO, then LH will priority tag the luggage through.
You should expect a passport check, meaning you can't just drop off luggage.
Caveat: Personally haven't taken this AMS-FRA-(out of Schengen) route, so don't have specifics of your particular itinerary.
