Is there a Greece forum or would that fall under Europe?

But for how much longer who knows !
But ask away OP as there are some good local experts on here and the long-time tourists who might be able to help.

Europe on FT is defined as a geographical region. It's not related to EC membership, etc., and should not change barring unprecedented movements of large land masses.

last month we returned from two weeks in athens. we had a great time. inexpensive hotels, food, wine, and taxi. the people were terrific. food was outstanding, and much more variety than we expected. it was not like the greek restaurants of usa.

wife says it is one of the places she wishes to return. there are 20 places in which she is indifferent to return.

I enjoyed Athens too but two weeks already feels like a lot of time to spend there as a tourist. If I were you I'd try the Aegean for your next trip, and make Athens a stopover.
