Never lots of replies for Romania

Visit the Palatul Parlamentului. It's pretty standard for Bucharest visits and I did not have time to go on the tour, but I heard the tour was cool.

Walk around the old city in general. Loved it. There are plenty of museums to get to if you care for those.

Cismigiu Gardens is nice. Parcul Izvor is ok.

I never really get out of the city center much. I do stay at the Hilton Athenee and I see you are a gold. I have always been upgraded as a gold and treated well at this Hilton. I love this Hilton in fact. It's close to the Athenaeum and the Museum of Art and about 10-20 minute walk to the old city. It is also on a street with the high end shopping if you care for that. Like the next storefront north on Calea Victoriei is the Gucci store. It's across the street from the Radisson Blu and the casino it houses. Taxis are cheap, busses are cheap, walking was not bad. The people are nice. Have fun.

Thank you to everyone for your replies.

Has anyone had an experience with the premier palace hotel and Spa? Their website is under construction!! I mean this is 2015-who in the world puts 'under construction'.

Having said that they have great reviews on TripAdvisor. I am going mainly for Spa and sightseeing. I prepared for 5* to be less than 5 as far as the rooms go.

Do you know anything about this hotel or about top Spa's in Bucharest?

Thank you

I haven't stayed at your specific property, but 5* hotels of international chains are no worse in Bucharest than anywhere else in Europe. In fact, Radisson Blu Bucharest is one of the best Radissons I've ever stayed at.
