Need Prague help

Mrs EX and I will be in Prague for four days in February staying at the Crowne Plaza. Would appreciate if someone can recommend some restaurants to us? Thanks.

If you try doing a search using "Prague restaurants", you'll find several recent threads, including this one http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/europ...ue+restaurants that should give you a good starting point.

And out of that list, this is great advice, especially if you like beer. Granted, the beer is more expensive than other places, but still reasonable compared to the US.

I'm a big fan of their sister pub:

Pivovarsk Klub
Křikova 272/17, 186 00 Prague 8-Karln

They don't brew there but have beer from small breweries. The food was also good but not fancy.

If you feel adventuresome, take Tram 11 to the end where you'll find Prvn Pivn Tramway in a converted station house. I'm told they were one of the first pubs to have rotating taps from smaller breweries.
