Schengen Visa Validity close to expiry of visa

A friend of mine has a 1 year Schengen Visa which expires on the 20th of September. Can she go for a 3 night trip to Italy from the 13th to 16th? Or does she need the visa to be valid for longer to be able to visit?

No issue. She may be asked to demonstrate proof that she intends to leave before it expires, but that's about it.

QUERY regarding shenegen visa to Germany

Hi. My company wants me to attend a 3 day conference in Germany in dec first week. I am an Indian citizen living in UK and my UK visa is valid till mid feb 2013. Therefore from dec2012 to feb 2013 ,i will just have about 2 months visa. Is there anyway i could get schenegen business visa ? Thanks

URGENT URGENT HELP PLS. I'm a flight attendant and I usually go to Europe every month so the issuance of personal Schengen visa was no problem. My dilemma is my personal visa states that it's valid until 8-march-13(Multiple entry). I'm planning to go to Paris on the 7th and will leave the next day. If it's valid till the 8th then I should be fine, right? I would really appreciate your response.thanks so much!!

Why would you want it stamped in an old passport?

whilst i welcome you to flyer talk I should point out that it is not a specialist immigration website - there are plenty of those found on google.

But which passport was it stamped in?

The post titles says stamped in old passport but your text says new passport

How can people advise you when you give contradictory information?

assuming it was stamped in your old passport in general it shouldn't matter as long as you take both passports with you when you travel so the airline and immigration officials can see it.

@Sachin1980: The only problem you'll have is to remember to always carry both passports with you when you travel. Until Greece was included in the no US visa countries a few years ago, I always did that...
