Need help with Zurich Airport Hotel

I have an early Sunday morning departure out of Zurich. I haven't been to Zurich in a long time. Does public transit serve the airport very early in the a.m.? Or should I stay at an airport hotel that has shuttle service to the terminal? I will appreciate any guidance you can offer.

Looks like the first S-Bahn to arrive at the airport station from Zurich HB on a Sunday is 05:14, if that helps.

My only experience of the airport hotels is the Park Inn, and I'd struggle to recommend its oversubscribed shuttle service.

A Radisson is directly connected to the ZRH terminal and a Hilton is nearby. There also are a bunch of decent hotels in the vicinity, but no idea when their respective shuttle services begin.

ZRH airport is very good connected by public transport, either train or tramway number 10 (from the city center) which also stops in front of the airport Novotel.

The Hilton is nice and has a free shuttle to and from the airport.

Thanks for the help

Thanks everyone for your comments. I have reserved a room at the Novhotel near the airport. I joined their frequent stay program just prior to making the booking. Now I have more choices.

How long is the walk to Hyatt Place (at the Circle) once you get off the plane?

After baggage reclaim? Maybe 1/4 mile.

There's a video guide on YouTube:

The hotel shuttle is free from the airport to the Hilton. While the return trip used to be free, for several years now, the shuttle from the Hilton to the airport was CHF 5. I believe it’s currently CHF 6.

Just an FYI, the Zürich airport Hyatt is a Regency, not a Hyatt Place.

There is both a Hyatt Regency and a Hyatt Place at The Circle at ZRH airport.

The Radisson Blu is directly connected to the airport as well, a bit closer than either Hyatt. All are easily walkable.

Yes - strongly recommend the Hyatt Place in the Circle. We stayed there earlier this year with a 6am flight and it was a painless process to walk to the terminal.
