I will be in Greece (Athens) a week from now. Any reports ? Are strikes going on? Are there still massive protests ? Thanks for any advice.

Spent a day in Athens after a conference in Crete. Nothing special there. The GB is still above EUR 300, the Sofitel around EUR 200-250, like the Hilton, and the Holiday Inn on the Attiki Oddos is above EUR 160
. The IC has some better rates, but that's about it. On the other hand, the past two months has seen prices at resorts in Crete go down substantially. As for strikes, the last one was rather limited in scope: for air travel, there were just a few OA domestic flights to Rhodos that were cancelled.
