Baggage delay compensation policy?

Does Etihad have a policy on baggage delay? My luaggage is delayed on a J class ticket to DEL (I am here as a tourist). The airport staff filled out the paperwork but were not aware of any compensation policy. They will let us know when the luggage arrives but I will meanwhile need to get some essential clothing. Am wondering who I need to contact at Etihad to check on delay compensation.

They should cover any necessary expenditure, but I wouldn't expect any compensation other than perhaps some Guest Miles.

I once experience this at CAI, they didn't help or pay anything. Just issue a certificate, I claim with my card.

Thanks. My luggage is missing for the last four days (of a two week trip). Etihad baggage claims does not respond to my emails. So no luggage and no way to get any help from Etihad.
