Financial Problems at Ethiad?
German papers are currently full of discussions regarding AB with a few sidenotes regarding EAP and Ethiad itself. In one of the Articles financial difficulties at Ethiad are mentioned

rough translation: Various local media sources reported that the ruling family is questioning the continuing existence of Ethiad and is of different opinion. This is due to the billions already sunk into the carrier and that the expansion strategy has failed (same as the hunter strategy at Swissair failed).

Bezüglich Etihad Airways berichten verschiedene lokale Medien übereinstimmend, dass die Herrscherfamilie des Emirats Abu Dhabi den Fortbestand der Fluglinie in Frage stellen würde und man sich familienintern noch nicht einig wäre. Hintergrund ist, dass über diesen Golfcarrier Milliarden-Euro-Beträge regelrecht versenkt wurden und die Expansion, die sehr stark an die gescheiterte Hunter-Strategie der ehemaligen Swissair erinnerte, gescheitert ist.
Anyone else has heard anything regarding this?
