I think OP means T3-T1.
The transit between the two is very quick. 5-10 minutes walk. The walk from transit security to T1 will quicker than some of the gates at the far side of T3.

i have more than once experienced either no premium queue or the queues for premium taking longer than those for economy for transit at Abu Dhabi. It is a disgrace and one that Etihad simply pass the buck on and blame the airport instead of insisting on their premium passengers being treated the way they should be
Mind you they are not alone at heathrow the last couple of times that i used it it was far quicker for Brits to use the ordinary queue for immigration than the so called business one
