I would say they will offer you 10k Miles as an excuse, that's what I got for a lot worse experience.
It's an absolute joke how etihad treats their premium and loyal customers.

I got a similar response to my screwed-up chauffeur in Abu Dhabi. Interesting how they can't even have a backup plan at their home base. On a paid Apartments ticket from Melbourne I was left to figure things out myself, or take the bus to Dubai. Simply put, that's the last time I, my family, or any of my employees set foot on an Etihad service
