I am a seasoned traveller and am clever enough to know that aircraft changes happen. However, as has been pointed out, when there are such clear product differences advertised between different aircraft and terms such as 'First Apartment' being referred to, this is clearly a differentiator.

EY had no hesitation in moving my flight to another day. Except this then changed too...and the return. Quite frankly, I do not think EY deserve the money. I had never looked at them before their A380 and have always flown EK F. And that is who I have now booked with, under a QF codeshare which will earn me 900 BA Tier Points which are far more valuable to me than what I'd get with EY.

It's a shame as the product genuinely looks amazing and ahead of EK. Maybe I'll look at EY again in a few years but to be honest, I'm pretty darn annoyed with them. And the Contact Centre...well that needs some serious work. But so does EK's...
I didn't think you got BA TPs on QF coded EK operated flights? Only the avios points.

No. You get the BA tier points on QF coded EK metal (I bought my flights on the QF website).

Indeed. It is the only exception to the rules.
