etihad has launched a discount code “CYBERMONDAY”.
This code only valid for flight originate from New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas.

But once on site it says select cities and AUH isn't one.

Misleading and Phony sale
Eithad is offering 30% off any fares to just about every city it serves until 12/2/14. The terms and conditions say nothing about one way, round trip, or open jaw. But when I tried to book a return to USA to a different city the discount disappeared. When I called their customer service office I was told there are terms and conditions not listed on this web site, including no open jaw.

Where does one add this discount code in the booking process? I've gone through to the payment page and not seen any field to enter a code.

It seems not. I have only been able to find the 'discount code' field when booking a simple OW or RT.
