Which day of the month will the lounge open on?

For those of you in F not on FF tickets, I would start flying EK temporarily until the lounge is open ands send a letter to EY with copies of the EK tickets making it clear when EY stops playing games you'll come back. I have never seen anything so ridiculous in my life. Construction delays are one thing, they happen but the lies and conflicting information is unforgivable

Poor EK F pax.....its so terrible what they have done to you.

After complimentary chauffeurs, fancy champagne and free massages in the lounge, I can't believe you have to sit in view of J class filth!

Truly a "first world" problem.

Next time you guys are "slumming it" in AUH Premium lounge, just remember some of us are still fighting real battles in United Clubs on the other side of the world!!

I asked if we would be told the date of the opening in advance, or notified when the lounge has actually opened. The response is....

Hi sabdhabi, an announcement will be make when the lounge is opened. Kindly stay tuned to our social media channels for the updates! *Yas

Given that the sentence is clearly not written by a native speaker, it is unclear whether they mean that "an announcement will be made regarding when the lounge will open" or "an announcement will be made after the lounge has opened".

Or perhaps such ambiguity is exactly what the author was striving for....it seems to be an important aspect of Etihad's style guide for written communications!!!

It is not much information, but it seems like some countries have hidden links:

Those links relate to the old Lounge which closed 2 years ago.

Compare this pic from those pages with this report of the old F lounge

Naive question - but if I am flying in and out of Terminal 1, how long of a layover would allow for a visit to the new F lounge opening in Terminal 3? Is there an air-side connection between the 2 terminals?

there is, plan 10 minutes each way for walking based on the current premium lounge location. Not sure where in T3 exactly the F lounge will be, but doubt it's further than the premium lounge so I guess 10 minutes is safe.
