Mmmm? Well, a silly view from the airline IMHO as its nice to recline at your seat without going to the bedroom to do so! Did I miss something

Actually from Etihad's own website it appears to be EY17/18 that has been delayed until 1st August and EY19/20 commences A380 operation on 1st May 2015 - not as reported on airlineroute.net and business traveller

Agree. Just because I have a bed in my bedroom that doesn't mean I don't enjoy my recliner sofa that I have in the loungroom.

The pics look great

Can first-class on the 380s be booked using award miles? If not I'm assuming business class can atleast. How much are taxes & fees if yes for first/business for say ... SFO to AUH (or vice-versa).

Thanks

Not sure about that specific route (AUH/SFO) but on the 388 only J it seems it bookable at the moment as an award redemption. On other routes (on the 346 or 77W) F is certainly bookable.

Taxes/fees are not usually alot as there are no fuel surcharges (at least not through AA). Again can't comment on that route specifically but on AUH-MEL or AUH-SYD the taxes/fees usually come to ~US$70-80 per pax one way in F.
