Doubt : Skywards Miles

Hi FT'ers,
I current have 17760 tier miles and I'm planning a trip which is MAA-DXB-LHR-DXB-MAA which I get 10472 tier miles after completing the whole journey. Here is my question, After completing the first 3 sectors I hit the silver status and my last sector I am going to perform on next 3 days from the 3rd sector. So for last sector will I get bonus for Silver status, that is 25% bonus miles?

You should do yes.... at least I think so! The same thing will be happening to me mid flight in the first sector of a 4 sector combo on EK in October (silver to gold) so I'm hoping for the gold bonus on the last 3 sectors...
AF did it for me recently when I went from silver to gold mid pacific on a KE flight so there 's no reason EK can't do the same ....

Generally flights take 2 days to post and sometimes it takes another day to switch the account to Silver, so you have a chance if everything goes exactly according to the normal time frame. Given time zone and other issues you also have a chance that you would just miss out.

their computer system is very antiquated here
I recently did a lhr dxb then changed flight number to syd.
I did not put my number in as I knew I would achieve gold in dxb .
I then requested the missing lhr dxb mileage.
2 days later the account turned gold so I request the dxb syd.
although my account said gold I was only given silver miles.
when I called the service centre they said that as the system recognises me as silver for 2 days after the flight even though I requested as gold I would only get silver miles.
this has happened to me many times ovder the past few years. they avhe not changed their system
I dont know if it is done on purpose to give people less miles or if they just cant be bothered fixing the problem.

Flew LHR-DXB-BOM as silver with the DXB-BOM sector taking me to gold this week. Flew back 3 days later and all points credited for gold status.
