It depends on the route you are flying. Long haul I'd say EK F is better- but neither would be a bad choice at all. To give a few comparisons:
Food: QR F menu is same as J class with one or two additional choices. EK menu is different from J.
Seat: QR F will be lie flat. EK might or might not be lie flat. Whatever the type of seat, I find EK seats much more comfortable.
Amenity kit: QR will always give amenity kit in F at any time of day. EK give for night flights only.
AVOD: EK AVOD has bigger choice of films, music.
Lounge: new EK F lounge in DXB T3 is great. Also has free spa treatments. QR premium terminal in Doha is relaxing but not very interesting and only one small duty free shop. There is a spa but its not cheap to get a treatment.

Hi Safari7 I have limited experience in F but I would say that, although I prefer QR business class to Emirates, I was very underwhelmed by QR's F cabin. It looks a bit dull and cheap in there, with huge amounts of space that no-one knows how to use.
I found QRs F seat very comfy and slept like a wooden man so A plus for that.
MarkLHR is right about the food but in my opinion QR's J food is well ahead of Emirates anyway, so you should be happy with that.
Doha Premium Terminal has a bit of wow factor for the first couple of times, so on that basis give it a try. (Later on you realise its limitations). I find the dedicated shopping area quite useful, and it means that unlike DXB T3 you don't have to exit the lounge and fight with the crowds of shoppers for last minute gifts etc.

But for the PT, this actually works very nicely. When your flight is called, they check your BP at a special gate in the premium terminal, you get straight on a little bus with about 15 x comfy seats, it takes you straight to the steps of the plane. Up the steps, to discover the rest of the plane has been boarded. Sit down, off you go. Similarly arriving J pax are bussed straight to the PT. There is no mingling at any stage with Y pax.
